their birthday is the 26th but i just finished this and am real bad at sitting on things
i have never animated anything before! what a huge pain in the ass wow.
done in krita, without the animation plugin. and also some command-line shenanigans. it was not pretty or convenient.
i would’ve done beleth but i can barely even draw one frame of beleth sob

originally i had a tiny mothim tackling a giant pikachu but then i actually looked at my own website and it turns out mothim is gigantic
you know, for a moth
i didn’t know what to draw, so i went looking through some art from december last year and found this delibird
so here is another december delibird. i didn’t realize until i’d finished that the other one was also drawn on december 9, ha
i am bad at colors so i tried using the db32 palette (designed for pixel art) and uh wow it turned out pretty well
also props to bob ross for telling me how to fudge the background
took like 3½ hours. done entirely with krita’s builtin Bristles_textured brush, with some minor customizations (turning off overlay mode and constantly fiddling with the color rate curve)
