Considering the jontron thing, I think proportionality is a thing to consider. Please don't sugar coat it claiming you're "spreading awareness". You're part of a mob and you're part of it against this particular person you know nothing about because it's the "hot new thing to do on tumblr" and thats all there is to it. Proceed if you must but remember how agitated you get at people crawling out of the woodwork, spreading lies about you because they know nothing about you.

This is great and all, except I get mad when people spread lies. Lies that are made up with nothing to back them up.

I don’t have a damn problem with spreading someone’s ACTUAL ACTIONS about things they ACTUALLY DID, so please don’t conflate the two things. It’s pretty offensive to me that you would suggest that people calling Jontron a dickhole for something he actually did is at all similar to people calling me a bitch because of some new thing they made up.

I have to roll my eyes that you say it’s “sugar coating” by calling it spreading awareness — it’s not. Jontron’s reactions to people calling him out on THINGS HE ACTUALLY DID AND SAID are good examples on how not to react, so I’m going to treat them as such.

i don’t even want to talk about jontron; i don’t care about jontron, stop bringing up jontron, i don’t have a lot of interest in guy who puts his talking head on youtube to talk about video games or whatever

but i think he’s a dick because of a string of dick things he did, and people have to crawl out of the woodwork to correct this horrible injustice
