this seems to have come from someone who overheard roughly three words of a story and filled in the gaps to justify hating mel or whatever

i was seeing a therapist like four years ago because i was unhappy at the time (hint: my job was mindnumbingly boring and my partner lived three thousand miles away). she was kind of a bad therapist, big on new-agey crap like tying everything to “energies” and the idea that every adult still literally has a child’s mind that is responsible for all negative emotions or somesuch nonsense. i think i only kept going because just babbling aloud for 45 minutes was pretty nice, even if none of her input was terribly useful. when mel and marl moved in i had mel to babble to instead, so i ditched the therapist and that was that
