Have you ever seriously tried to learn cooking? It goes a long way in making you more independent if you just work your way up to fried eggs or your favorite dish and it's not that hard.

haha not really, though i’m certainly better than i was before marl moved in

i don’t like cooking for myself—spending more time making food than it takes to eat feels like such a waste when i know i’d be satisfied enough throwing a frozen turkey patty in the toaster oven

and i don’t ever cook for all of us because well why would i when marl is so much ridiculously better

i wouldn’t mind getting a little better though

ideally i would be passably capable at like every skill in the world
