Not sure if you've really been keeping note of it, but do you think the way weasyl is being run will eventually lead it to success? They just seem to take things a bit more seriously than how fa has been running in my opinion.

well, i don’t know what “success” means to begin with

the people running it are moderately reasonable and the dev team is pretty ok

but they also do some critically idiot things clearly designed for a furry audience, like treat “art i made” and “art i bought” as equally legitimate reasons to upload something

they will probably do ok either way but they will certainly never outgrow furry fandom with that kind of philosophy
