Someone like you doesn't deserve to know another's identity so I'll go with this. Equating a person who made a mistake (however small or large) to Stalin is construing things on a Godwin's Law scale. I also do not think someone's dreams, aspirations and hopes find a metaphorical equivalent in something as materialistic as billiards or cowboy movies. I would say the latter two things do not certify someone's humanity whereas the former does. Is it me, or do you have no idea how people work?
