kind of real mad about the vibe in the notes on that last twitter screenshot thing, because it exemplifies exactly what has always horrified me about tumblr culture — the gawking and scrutiny and theorycrafting and endless obsession with socially pressuring everyone into being the right kind of queer. some rando made a joke to their friend, and it was plucked out of mid-conversation in order to make a point that doesn’t make sense anyway — you’re all on the website best known for banning porn! even if they’d been serious, at worst that person was just saying they don’t like it; tumblr is a massive platform and is actively suppressing it

Maybe I’m just following better circles…
