I absolutely agree that female breasts shouldn’t be considered nsfw, but as someone who’s computer is in a very visible area of the house I can understand why people still need them tagged that way. A parent isn’t going to listen to reason if they see their kid looking at what they consider porn. All it takes is one walk in and someone that actually has nsfw stuff blocked gets in trouble. Likewise for people who browse Tumblr in public or at work. It’s unfortunate and unfair, but it’s true.
I’m not trying to start an argument, though. I just want to bring in another perspective. Would you just tell people who need to worry about that not to follow your blog then?

if it were critically important that a certain category of image never appear on my screen i would absolutely not rely on the value judgements of strangers
