I respond to each ask and I find it pretty fun to find new ways to reply in a silly fashion to people trying very hard to be hateful
i will turn hateful things into hilarity for people watching; no rise is had from me except spinning fedoras and pictures of my cats
seriously though, just ignoring things doesn’t work - people still will do that, but they get startled if you call them out on bullshit. please don’t promote an attitude of ignoring shitty things, but do promote an attitude of turning it into something better and to be laughed at
also this kind of attitude inadvertently spins it around and makes it the target’s “fault” for not responding in some way that will hypothetically maybe make a dickass go away, and basically relieves the dickass of all accountability for being a dickass
