I hate to dredge this up again, but the peanut gallery resurfaces every time Glip does a moderately popular thing, and I realized I don’t have a single collected list of responses. So here you go: the inverse of a callout post. A call…in?

If you haven’t read these, perhaps consider not spreading serious accusations about the relevant persons.

No one made moves on a 13yo, and Glip did not call autistic people sociopaths or robots

I do not support child porn

General advice: beware games of telephone. Pengo’s post said “potentially abusive”, based mostly on some months-old third-hand speculation, not anything that actually happened; magically, that became “known abuser”. I read an article about some philosophical and practical issues with a law, mulled it over, and now am occasionally accused of “supporting child porn” or outright being a pedo. (I do not; I am not.)

If there’s a huge gap between two dots and nothing connecting them, someone is probably bullshitting you, hoping you’ll make the leap yourself without questioning it.
