i admit i’m a little confused why everyone is up in arms over the reblog change
it solves some problems, and it’s not like pressing ctrl-a, delete was hugely difficult before
also i note that xkit’s quick-reblog hover balloon thing has both a checkbox and a button that will delete the original caption, but everyone loves xkit and i don’t think i’ve ever heard a single complaint about this
meanwhile, like half of the built-in free tumblr themes don’t seem to show the “source” field for a post?? and that doesn’t seem to bother anyone either
so this is an odd choice of thing to campaign against and seems like it’ll encourage tumblr to fix things even less often than they already do
