Given your experience, do you happen to know any particular methods of accessing or at least breaking into the mysterious 'DarkNet'? After all, given how vast it is compared to the regular internet, I really want to see all the secrets it holds and the potential it has in general.

“darknet” frequently just means “hosted on tor with a .onion address”

i don’t know where you’d actually find a list of .onion addresses (maybe there’s a directory or something) but if i were to hazard a guess, you’re probably just missing out on: black markets, child porn, and manifestos written by edgy teenagers
