From my perspective, if this sort of faulty relationship was dragged out and exacerbated with a cycle of negativity MAYBE that'd be call for claiming PK as abusive. But that's not what happened, PK realized early that they were incompatible and chose to end the relationship.

i’m sure it didn’t seem this way writing it, but as a reader, it sounded like far more stuff actually happened — and i experienced most of it second-hand! i can’t imagine how it sounds to someone whose first introduction to all this was the callout
