Steal one of mels fountain pens, see if you can get anything at all done with that. Not being able to erase makes you think long and hard where to put the line. Useful for planning and speed.

the secret to my success is that by the time i’m done erasing and redrawing everything, i’ve actually drawn it ten times, for 10× the art practice

maybe when lines reliably come out how i wanted them within the first three tries
