I have mentioned before I have disabilities including mental illness (depression, 6 anxiety conditions including PTSD, its not important really) and the way Pengo is acting is not as someone with mental illnesses. He is acting like a child who didnt get his way and is angry and wants revenge. Of course this falls in line with someone who does (1/2)

(2) have paranoia, however he is exaggerating his symptomology in some places in his statement that even I who normally can stretch my suspension of disbelief pretty damn far felt it snap and thought to myself, this is a person using their mental illness to escape the consequences of their bad behaviour and using the shout of abelism at anyone who dares to speak against them or their condition and this makes me sick. I have spent my whole life fighting the stigma that comes with my illnesses …
(3) and here we have someone with a legit illness making that stigma worse by doing what I and others like myself are constantly accused of doing, using our MI as an escape from any consequences. The worst is, hes using his MI as an excuse to create false problems and then as an excuse for why it happens. He is a walking example of WHY the stigma against MI exists and it infuriates me that they dare accuse YOU of abelism! How dare they, They should be ashamed of themselves. Thanks for listening!

i was completely flabbergasted when pengo outright said “they are threatening a mentally ill abused nonbinary person”

as if we had just picked him out of a list of random people, because of those things

like we of all people are hunting down nonbinary targets to pick on for no reason?

blew my fucking mind.  i was so mad.  half of mel’s grievances were that he wouldn’t take responsibility, and now he was outright hiding behind his own oppression.  i don’t know how else to interpret what he said.
