First I should say that I agree that PK did very little wrong in this whole thing, and it's an unfortunate event. But my questions are Naki letting the door shut on Pengo, how is that an easy let slide because Pengo just said something upsetting with no explanation, like I hold the door for people if it's not a huge hassle for me and they're carrying stuff all the time, I think I would do that to my worst enemy even. Now that isn't even PKs doing, so that's neither here nor there. -- the other

concerns are can you just explain why it was a big deal to PK to keep Pengo mostly a secret, but it wasn’t for one of PK’s current partners, I’m still not very clear on that. I just want to know more. Oh and the other thing isn’t really a concern, more that Pengo probably attacked at PK’s friends because he felt his friend was being attacked by PK, Naki, and possibly Alice. NOT that that makes it acceptable at all, you just said in the post you didn’t know why.

pengo’s wording suggested that naki just made a habit of targeting him and letting doors slam in his face; i wanted to point out that, no, she had a reason.  whether you think it was a good enough reason or not, it was certainly better than no reason at all.

i can’t speak for mel, but i imagine that it’s much harder to keep a relationship secret when you’re talking to and about someone constantly — pengo had a fairly active personal tumblr at the time, he and mel were collaborating on a project, they drew stuff for each other and bantered a lot, etc.  interacting with someone publicly, while having to constantly gauge what would cross the line and give it away, would surely be a bit stressful.  but the current partner is fairly quiet online, so there’s not much to hide; all mel had to do was simply not mention him at all.

maybe that makes sense.  it’s just, well.  naki and curly had relatively few interactions overall, it’s been more than a year, and the post was supposed to be about very serious allegations against mel…  so including potshots at naki seemed a little out of left field.
