dude how is providing a rebuttal with more evidence than pengo provided being manipulative??  there’s a HUGE difference between using evidence to defend yourself and just saying “they’re lying and wrong” and leaving it at that.  did you even compare pengo’s and eevee’s accounts of what happened? (plus they never threatened to release the info online i thought this was already cleared up weeks ago)

here’s the thing: when you’re first reaction to being called a manipulator is to do the exact same things you were being accused of again on a public front such as dismissing the accuser as being paranoid, a liar, and gaslighting to hell and back, that doesn’t absolve your case of anything, it only gives people more red flags.

As a reminder:

• Pengo is paranoid. This is a fact. He said so, several times.
• Pengo is saying things that aren’t true. This is also a fact. I believe I have conclusively demonstrated that.
• Pengo did misremember a great many things. This is also a fact. Stating it is not gaslighting. Gaslighting is telling someone they are wrong, when they are actually right. Pengo is wrong.

when you go from that to threatening to sue and making sure your victim knows that you have an advantage over them, you know where they live, that is manipulative. i confronted PK about the doxxing issue on twitter a while back, and you know what they didn’t do? deny that it was a threat. in fact, i would argue that they openly admitted that it was a threat and it was only until possibly their legal council told them that is not a thing you should do unless you really want to hurt your case did they go back and deny that was the intention.

You may argue whatever you please, but the plain truth is that we never once made any indication that we wanted to release any of Pengo’s personal information. If we wanted to do that, why wouldn’t we have done so when he kept posting?

here’s the thing: the OP (pengo) has been silent about this for weeks. they have already been silenced by an internet cult personality with more resources, more fanbase, and more capital. creating a 133 page pdf to “annihilate” these claims is equivalent to twisting the knife of an already defeated victim.

Pengo is not a victim — not of us, at least. Pengo set out to harm PK’s reputation and livelihood. He said as much. And he did it based on a great number of accusations that were not true.

PK is a victim, of Pengo. Naki is a victim, of Pengo. Marl is a victim, of Pengo.

Pengo is not a victim of us. All we have done is provide the truth.

And, I remind you, Pengo and PK hadn’t spoken for well over a year before Pengo decided to dig up the hatchet.

Had I not written a rebuttal, people would have continued to believe the falsehoods Pengo has told, which is unacceptable.

What would you do, if someone spread a 70-page mantra about you to thousands of people? I’m really curious.

nothing PK & their acquaintances have done after these allegations have come to light has made me even slightly convinced that they are in any way being painted in a light they weren’t already being shown in. every single thing PK has done in response to this not only confirms the things pengo has pointed out from his experiences with them, but makes these allegations hold much more weight than they would otherwise.

PK said Pengo told lies, because his post is full of lies.

I said that Pengo is paranoid, because it is true, and it is the only explanation I can offer as to why he would do something so cruel. I don’t believe he would do it deliberately. If you disagree with me, and you think he’s really that kind of person, well, I can’t prove you wrong.

PK sought legal advice, because Pengo’s claims escalated into crime.

You cannot call any of this unreasonable with a straight face. From the very beginning, Pengo has been saying things that are not true, and everyone in this house knew it.

Once again: where is your scorn for Pengo, for doing this in the first place? And how would you have reacted? Detractors never seem interested in answering these questions; only in finding excuses for why PK is still terrible, even in the face of an overwhelming mountain of evidence to the contrary.
