i believe you are condemning me with your zillion tags over a teeny matter of semantics.
i assert that pengo’s claims are false. the things he’s saying are not true.
but i do not believe that pengo is lying, because “lying” applied to a person is generally understood to be deliberate.
saying an inanimate object like a post is lying, or saying that words are lies, does not necessarily have the same connotation.
your very first tweet screenshot even says this: just because someone believes something is true, doesn’t mean it is.
